Over the last few years, mainland Europe and the UK have seen an increase in OPM and Brown-Tail Moths due to changes in our climate.
These insects pose a risk to people and animals, causing rashes or eye irritation, and in severe cases, breathing difficulties.
The ForestryVac:
The ForestryVac tackles issues caused by OPMs (Oak Processionary Moths and Caterpillars) and other pests in an environmentally friendly way without harmful chemicals and all from the safety of the ground.
Many current methods for managing the threat of OPMs include using chemicals and sprays, or burning the nests, which means temporarily closing large public areas. The ForestryVac is a fast, environmentally friendly solution for insect & disease management that limits the amount of time public spaces would be closed.
The ForestryVac comes complete with a set of eight skyVac Elite Carbon Fibre Suction Poles, reaching heights of 12m/40ft. The skyVac Elite carbon fibre poles are the lightest in the industry, weighing only 280g per 1.5m.

H-Class Vacuum:
The ForestryVac is an H-Class Vacuum specifically designed to remove the toxic microscopic hairs left by OPM’s and Brown Tail Moths. The vacuum comes with a cap for the 50mm entry port, to keep the contents of the drum contained. Furthermore, the included self-sealing safety filter bags attach to the entry port inside the drum, to ensure that once the OPM’s are caught, they stay caught!
The vacuum motor is protected by a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter). HEPA filters are designed to prevent finer dust particles from penetrating the inside of your machine, protecting your vacuum.
We recommend replacing or changing your filter once or twice a year, depending on usage, as this helps maintain the performance of your machine.
Powerful On-Board Generator:
Powered by an onboard Honda engine, the ForestryVac makes light work of combatting OPMs in the field where mains power isn’t an option.
The ForestryVac comes with our patented Elite 135° Hairpin Neck. The curved shape and wider passageway of the neck section create more space for debris and air to circulate for smooth movement through the 135-degree angle, reducing time-consuming blockages.
