Enhanced Protection Without Compromise.

For over two decades, skyVac has been helping professionals tackle high-level cleaning challenges safely and efficiently from the ground.

From pioneering the gutter vacuum industry to developing specialist solutions for internal high-level cleaning, roof cleaning, inspection and hazardous environments, our focus has always been the same: reducing risk while helping operators work more effectively. As our Managing Director, Kate Hill, recently explained, skyVac’s ambition is to help facilities managers and contractors move away from the assumption that high-level work must also be high-risk work.

Today, we’re taking the next step in that journey with the launch of the new skyVac Operator Safety Range.

Responding to a Growing Need

With operator safety being a key priority across the industry, customers are increasingly looking for solutions that support safer working practices without compromising productivity or performance.

Across our distributor network and customer base, we have seen a growing demand for practical products that help operators work with greater confidence. For many businesses, the challenge isn’t simply finding equipment that offers enhanced protection. It’s finding equipment that does so without introducing new compromises in handling, comfort or usability.

That challenge became the driving force behind the development of the S-Guard poles and the introduction of the wider skyVac Operator Safety Range.

Developed Around Real-World Challenges

At the heart of the range are the new S-Guard Poles.

Manufactured from high-specification glass fibre and independently tested to 50,000 volts for 3 minutes to recognised transmission-line standards, S-Guard Poles have been developed to help provide enhanced electrical protection where overhead power cables may be present.

As Kate Hill, Managing Director, skyVac, explains:

“For over two decades, skyVac has been focused on helping professionals reduce risk while improving efficiency. The development of S-Guard is a natural extension of that commitment, and I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved. By applying the same innovation and engineering principles that have shaped skyVac from the beginning, we’ve created a practical solution that helps support safer working practices without compromising the lightweight handling, durability and performance our customers have come to associate with skyVac products.”

Throughout development, the focus was not simply on adding protection. It was on ensuring that protection did not come at the expense of the qualities that have made skyVac systems a trusted choice for contractors and facilities management professionals.

Rigorous testing confirmed that S-Guard Poles retain the lightweight handling, durability and strength customers expect from skyVac systems. Available as individual poles or recommended two-pole bundles, they integrate seamlessly into existing pole systems and are easily identified by their distinctive blue colour.

Importantly, this is not about reinventing what already works. It’s about helping operators work with greater confidence while preserving the performance that has defined skyVac products for more than two decades.

More Than Just Poles

The Operator Safety Range also includes carefully selected dielectric gloves and dielectric boots, helping support safer working practices without compromising comfort, confidence or performance.

Designed for demanding professional environments, every product in the range balances protection with the usability professionals rely on every day.

Staying True to Who We Are

The launch of the Operator Safety Range doesn’t represent a change in direction for skyVac. If anything, it reinforces the principles that have guided the business from the beginning.

As highlighted in Kate Hill’s recent interview with FM Director Magazine, skyVac’s success has always come from listening to customers, understanding the challenges they face and developing solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes rather than simply adding specifications.

The Operator Safety Range follows exactly the same philosophy.

It’s not about adding complexity. It’s about helping operators work with greater confidence while maintaining the comfort, control and performance they rely on every day.

Because when it comes to operator safety, protection should never come at the expense of performance.

Enhanced Protection Without Compromise.

Important: The Operator Safety Range is designed to support safer working practices and provide enhanced protection where electrical hazards may be present. It is not a substitute for proper risk assessment, safe working procedures, or compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. Operators should never intentionally work on, near or in contact with live electrical equipment or overhead power cables. Always assess risks before starting work and follow the customer RAMS documentation and relevant safety procedures.
