How did skyVac Ireland come to life?
We started our own cleaning business and conducted market research to explore various brands and products. We loved the idea of gutter vacuuming as it was entirely new to Ireland at the time. After purchasing a skyVac machine, we immediately saw the need for a skyVac dealer in Ireland. We reached out to Spinaclean, and it all grew from there.
What appealed to you about becoming a skyVac dealer?
Initially, having looked at several different brands worldwide, nothing compared to the quality of the skyVac products and customer service, so brand quality was the initial attraction.
What sort of growth have you experienced since you started?
Since we sold our first machine in 2019, we have experienced growth each year. We have gained thousands of followers on social media, acquired our skyVac warehouse and offices, and expanded our team here in Ireland. We anticipate continued growth in the coming years.
What has been the secret to your success?
We feel that customer service and knowledge of the products that we sell are key to our success. We provide top-class after-sales service, including in-house repairs and machine servicing, and are always available to answer any queries that our customers may have. Providing our customers with confidence in our products and trust in our service has been crucial.
What are your plans/hopes for the next 5 years?
We intend to continue growing over the next five years in Ireland. skyVac is constantly developing and bringing innovative products to the cleaning industry, and we hope to continue providing state-of-the-art modern cleaning machinery to our Irish base.
Are there any challenges faced by the exterior cleaning industry specific to the Republic of Ireland?
There are no challenges that are unique to the Republic of Ireland. In recent years, we have seen a growth in competition for the sale and supply of gutter vacuums. However, we don’t see this as much of a challenge, with nothing else on the market coming close to skyVac products.
What’s your favourite skyVac product?
At present, we are loving the new skyVac Swivel Cuff and recommend it to all of our customers due to the ease of use and prevention of any kinks in the vacuum hose. We feel that it is an essential addition to any gutter vacuum system.
What does skyVac do well as a supplier?
The excellent customer service, particularly by the overseas managers, Charlie & Rosie, has been exceptional. We believe having full support and backup from these managers makes running our business much easier, especially considering any queries or issues we may have. I think all skyVac customers will agree that the brand quality and customer service are top-class, and we always strive to echo this service right here in Ireland.
